ROSSTON PARKING – Mile 39.1

                                      Latitude/Longitude: 40°44.953’N, 079°33.235’W

DESCRIPTION: This is currently the southernmost end of the Armstrong Trail. It is a medium sized dirt parking lot maintained by the PA Fish and Boat Commission located next to the trail. As of now there are no public bathrooms at this parking location.

TRAVELING ON:
US-422 East coming from Butler
US-422 West coming from Elderton
PA-28 North coming from Tarentum
PA-66/28 South coming from New Bethlehem

1. Take Exit A PA-66 South towards Ford City.
2. Stay on PA-66 South for 1.2 miles.
3. Take the slight right at the traffic light onto PA-128 into Ford City.
4. Stay on PA-128/5th Street for approximately 2 miles.
5. Before you reach the bridge look for the sign that says Rosston; then turn left onto Ross Ave.
6. Stay on Ross Avenue for almost a mile, and then turn right at Rosston Circle.
7. Follow Rosston Circle past the Rosston Marina and along the riverside for 2/10 of a mile, until         you reach the parking lot.
8. Park at the Rosston PA Fish and Boat Commission parking lot.

TRAVELING ON:
PA-66 North coming from Leechburg:

1. Turn left at the traffic light onto PA-128 into Ford City.
2. Stay on PA-128 for approximately 2 miles.
3. Before you reach the bridge look for the sign that says Rosston;
then turn left onto Ross Avenue.
4. Stay on Ross Avenue for almost a mile, and then turn right at Rosston Circle.
5. Follow Rosston Circle past the Rosston Marina and along the riverside for 2/10 of a mile, until         you reach the parking lot.
6. Park at the Rosston PA Fish and Boat Commission parking lot.
